I’m Dr. Steven Witchoskey, PT, DPT, CSCS, Cert. DN., a licensed physical therapist and board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist — a distinction achieved by only about 5% of physical therapists nationwide. My background combines advanced orthopedic training, sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, dry needling, and sports science to help athletes recover, perform, and return to sport at the highest level.I have experience working with SEC collegiate athletes, elite high school athletes, and professional soccer athletes through roles with Florida Gator Football, Dallas Trinity FC, IMG Academy, and UT Southwestern. With Florida Gator Football, I served as a Sports Science Intern where I led Catapult GPS operations during practices and conditioning sessions, conducted daily force plate, CMJ, force frame, and NordBord testing, and collaborated with the head strength coach to analyze and implement athlete performance metrics. With Dallas Trinity FC of the USL Super League, I served as the physical therapist, managing acute injury rehabilitation, post-operative return-to-sport programming, and ongoing wellness care for professional soccer athletes. Before becoming a physical therapist, I was a Division I football player at Western Kentucky University, where I was a four-year letterman and served as a two-year team captain. That experience gives me a firsthand understanding of the physical and mental demands athletes face, as well as the importance of individualized care, trust, communication, and performance-driven rehabilitation. My goal is to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance by providing high-level, athlete-centered care that blends evidence-based physical therapy, sports science, and strength and conditioning principles to help athletes move better, build resilience, and return to doing what they love with confidence.
